We are delighted to share that BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center has been selected as one of the recipients of the California Black Freedom Fund grants. This initiative has allocated a significant investment of $3.5 million among 75 Black Powerbuilding organizations across California.
It is the second time we have been awarded this grant. In the previous funding round, in 2021, we received $150,000 for one year. Now, we are grateful to have secured $30,000 for the next two years. This funding will play a crucial role in supporting our general operating expenses as we persist in our joint efforts of Black power-building.
We extend the deepest appreciation to the California Black Freedom Fund for their support in our vision of transforming health outcomes for Black mothers, infants, and community.
